Coast Takes Shape

There is a point in every development when the vision begins to become tangible. At Coast Ōrewa, that moment is now.

Construction at Coast Ōrewa continues to move forward, with a number of homes now well into their final stages and the development beginning to take on its finished form.

There is a point in every development when the vision begins to become tangible.

At Coast Ōrewa, that moment is now. Across the site, homes are moving through their final layers of detail, the streetscape is taking form and the character of the neighbourhood is becoming increasingly clear. What was once a collection of plans and architectural drawings is steadily becoming a place to live.

In Block F, Lots 1–10, the homes are now entering their final stages. Interior and exterior painting is complete, while kitchens, bathrooms and tiling are being brought together with the installation of second fixtures.

These are the details that begin to define how a home feels — considered finishes, carefully resolved spaces and the final elements that turn a new residence into somewhere that feels complete.

In Blocks B and C, Lots 11–16, exterior painting is complete and interior second-fix work is well underway, with painting now nearing completion. The homes are moving steadily towards the point where their architectural design and material palette can be experienced as intended.

Elsewhere, Block E1 has progressed into its first-fix stage, marking the beginning of the internal systems and services that sit behind the finished surfaces.

The exterior character of Coast is becoming increasingly visible. At Block D, painted weatherboards are now being fixed, bringing texture and definition to the façades and reinforcing the cohesive architectural language across the development.

In Block G, Lots 25–28, roof trusses are now in place, with roofing the next step. From the street, the emerging forms of these homes are beginning to give a stronger sense of the finished neighbourhood.

Progress is extending beyond the residences themselves. The retail space is now fully enclosed, with all joinery installed. As the interior and exterior elements come together, the commercial component is beginning to take its place within the wider Coast setting.

The shared environment is taking shape too. Driveway and pedestrian pavers are now complete along the lane, establishing the first finished layers of the streetscape and creating a clearer sense of how the homes will connect with one another.

With homes at different stages of completion across the development, Coast Ōrewa is entering an exciting phase.

The structure is there. The architecture is emerging. Interiors are being finished and the spaces between the homes are beginning to feel established. Step by step, the details are coming together to create the considered, contemporary neighbourhood envisioned from the outset.

Coast Ōrewa is taking shape – and the finished picture is becoming easier to imagine with every stage of progress.
